Has anyone discovered any good restaurants/cafes in Canterbury where you can eat breakfast?

Beano Cafe by Westgate does a good breakfast, there's also Palace Street Cafe next to Westgate Games. There's a couple on the high street as well but I don't like those as much.

This is assuming you're looking for breakfast in the "fry up" sense, which is the only sense of true breakfast.

The Sportsman in wincheap is excellent - much better than Beano's. The Goods Shed (and Farmers Market) near Canterbury West is very good too, but rather pricey.

I like Poppins. Ok so it's a greasy spoon chain with the decor to match, but I like the choice and I think it's tasty!

Beano's is the best for greasy spoon fare, it's down from Westgate Spoons. Poppins on the high street is also pretty good and do monstrous pancakes.

Cafe Boho on the highstreet has the best breakfasts ever! I really recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. And the prices aren't bad either!
